  • Thank you for your interest in BUSC’s College Advisory Program. We are excited about helping your son achieve his collegiate student-athlete’s ambition. Below is an outline of the roles and responsibilities of each party moving forward. As we move forward together we will reflect back upon these guidelines in order to effectively hold each other accountable during this exciting project! Thank you for your interest in BUSC’s College Advisory Program. We are excited about helping your son achieve his collegiate student-athlete’s ambition. Below is an outline of the roles and responsibilities of each party moving forward. As we move forward together we will reflect back upon these guidelines in order to effectively hold each other accountable during this exciting project! Club Coordinator: Provide guidance and education as to the overall college plan being developed for each family. Monitor each players’ Collegefitfinder account. Meet in person as needed. Stay in regular contact and monitor the plan vs. action by player. Communicate with college coaches as opportunities arise. Stay in touch with club coaches regarding the development and progress of the players’ development. Provide advice and guidance on college i.d. camp selection Player: Get the best grades you can Keep improving as a player (work on areas that need improvement... improve areas of strength) Communicate to college coaches timely Keep Collegfitfinder up to date so Club can monitor progress Visit as many different schools as possible Attend i.d. camps Parent: Stay on top of players grades Make sure your son is working hard to improve as a soccer player (train to get better)-develop the right mentality and commitment level Get your son to colleges for visits Set financial parameters for college Communicate with club advisor and help monitor your sons execution of his plan Help create a video highlight for your son (Big eye video can provide) Get your son annually evaluated by a college coach to determine right level of collegiate play (iSoccerpath can provide) As a family, we agree to the above responsibilities for each party, will fully commit to the process, and understand there is no guarantee that participation in the program will result in a college scholarship or spot on any college roster.
