Format: Team Texas Scramble: Each person shall tee off from their respective tees, and like in a scramble, all members select the best ball of the four tee shots. All players move their balls to the spot of the best ball, and from this point, the hole is played out at stroke play, with all members of the team playing their own ball into the hole. For pace of play purposes, we are asking that triple bogey is the max score taken for a hole.
Handicaps: Players who have an established handicap will receive 50% of their handicap.
Registration begins at 10:30am
Driving Range opens at 10:30am

For over 45 years, this community based soccer club in Pleasanton, California has been teaching boys about good sportsmanship, teamwork and what it means to be a model citizen.
In an effort to foster international friendship and mutual understanding through exchanges between people with a common interest in soccer, our clubs travels with an age group made up primarily between the U13 & U14 teams. The players come from all levels of play within the competitive program. The group travels abroad each year for 10 days during the year’s school spring break, as part of its curriculum.
During the trip, professional EPL & Championship League level coaches train the players. They train between 4-6 sessions, play 2-3 matches, and attend 2-3 EPL or Championship league games. The group typically spends a couple days in London being a tourist and seeing such historical sites as Buckingham Palace, The Abbey, London Tower, and take a ride on the London Eye. The club has established an international partnership with a professional club in England called Sheffield Wednesday. This partnership allows for team travel, coaching education, and possible individual player development opportunities. In addition, a typical trip will include a tour of Manchester Stadium, a tour of Hillsborough stadium, a tour of St. George’s Park (England’s national team training grounds). This program is designed to give kids greater cultural awareness through athletic development and exchange.
In order to assist these players with the cost of the trip, the club encourages the families to engage in several fundraising events and we are looking for support from local businesses and thoughtful leaders. Our goal is to fundraise enough throughout the year to cover the majority of the player’s costs of travel.
Parents and other family members are welcome to attend the trip as well but will not share in the fundraising. A trip usually consists of about 30 players and an added 20-30 family members!
We are excited to be able to bring this opportunity to members of our club and provide them the opportunity to make a global connection in a way that very few will ever be able to achieve.
