One week after suffering tough losses to Sac Republic, the Ballistic MLS Next teams took three of six matches against Breakers F.C. out of Santa Cruz, then followed up splitting games with the Woodside Crush on Sunday.
On Saturday, the Under-19 team found itself in a 2-0 hole before rallying for three goals and the 3-2 win. Ethan Kerrigan scored a pair of goals, including the game winner. Saul Tecle had the other Ballistic goal.
In the Under-17 match, the Breakers led 1-0 midway through the second half before Ballistic rallied for the win. Dane Baker and Ilya Alekseev scored the goals.
The Under-16 team had the easiest go of things racking up a 6-0 win. Arteen Arianmanesh scored four goals and Colin Davis added a pair of goals.
The Under-13 teams fell 7-0, with the Under-14 team dropping 3-1 final, and the Under-15 team lost 6-1. Eli Stearns scored for the 14’s, with Miles Taylor getting the goal for the 15’s.
On Sunday the 14’s beat the Woodside Crush 5-0. Stearns, Jacob Pratte, Xavier Cisneros, Jio Lee, and Carson LeCornu had the goals. The U-13’s team fell 2-1 with Gerard Macias getting the lone goal.
