U-15 and U-17 DA teams coming off big weekend!

It was a big weekend for the Ballistic United United States Soccer Developmental Academy U-15 and Under 17 teams on Nov. 2-3.

The U-15 team came away with a pair of wins, beating the Crossfire Premier team from Washington 1-0 on Nov. 2, then following it up with a 1-0 over the Vancouver Whitecaps DA team the next day.

In the win over Crossfire, Ronald Zhai got the lone goal, scoring in the 54th minute. The next day it was a strike from Kaden Standish in the 72nd minute that provided the margin of victory for BUSC.

The two wins moved BUSC to 4-0 on the season, good enough for first place in their division.

The U-17 team suffered a tough 2-0 loss to the Crossfire team on Saturday, but then rallied for a 1-0 win over Vancouver, getting a goal from Ethan Kerrigan in the 5th minute.

The weekend left the team 3-1 on the season and in fourth place.

Both teams face a tall task this week – Nov. 9 – as they travel to the South Bay to face the San Jose Earthquakes DA teams. The U-15 team goes at 2 p.m., with the U-17 at 4 p.m.
