The Ballistic United Soccer Club announces eight U18 Premier players who will be playing soccer in college in the fall.  The players continuing their playing careers in college include Tyler Hoffman (Cal State Los Angeles), Brandon Brown (Chico State), Seth Niermeyer (Chico State), Duke Driggs (Cal State East Bay), Collin Hartland (Colorado College), Nandor Krause (Sonoma State), Dane Shaffar(Sonoma State), and Jason Chow (St. Mary’s).

Tyler Hoffman was named to the All Conference team and voted Most Valuable Player as a goalkeeper for the San Joaquin Athletic Association.  Dane Shaffar, two-time Amador high school MVP, was named first team all-league in the East Bay Athletic League and will be playing alongside fellow teammate and team captain Nandor Krause.  Dane and Nandor have played together for BUSC since U9 and were both 3 year Varsity starters at Amador. Seth Niermeyer has also been playing competitively for BUSC since U9, joining Dane and Nandor at U11.  Seth was a 3 year Varsity starter at Foothill high school.  Jason Chow, another lifetime BUSC competitive player was a four year Varsity player at Amador High School.  Brandon Brown and Duke Driggs, both of Cal High, joined the club a few years back and have been welcome additions. Duke was also named first team all-league in the East Bay Athletic League and was Cal High’s defensive player of the year.  Collin Hartland, who came to the club at U14, will be playing at Colorado College.  Collin was Dublin high school’s offensive MVP two years in a row.  The U18 Premier team took first place in the Nor Cal Premier 2 division, a fine way to end the boys’ playing career with the club.

We also want to take a moment to congratulate two other young men who played with the club long enough for us to recognize their achievements – Thomas Janjigian, who played for BUSC from U9 to U14 before ultimately playing for the Force Academy, will be playing at University of California at Irvine and Connor O’Neil, who came to the club from the highly touted Hayward Tecos at U16 before moving away after his U17 playing season to San Diego, will be playing at University of San Diego.

We want to congratulate all of the our graduating seniors and wish them the very best.  Keep playing boys!
