What is BUSC Abroad?
Playing for the Ballistic United Soccer Club is about so much more than just showing up for practices during the week, then the games on the weekend.
It’s about the growth of the person as the players develop into young men. BUSC doesn’t just want the development of soccer skills, but the maturation of each player as a person.
With that in mind, Ballistic started the Ballistic Abroad Program in 2012. The trips – always to England – have taken place from 2012 to present, with a three-year break from COVID.
“The aim is to provide a soccer culture experience that will provide a lifetime of memories,” said Ballistic Executive Director Kevin Crow. “We go over spring break to minimize missing school.”

About this trip
The tour starts off in London, where the team will train and play matches at Bracknell Town FC, while also exploring iconic sights such as Windsor, the London Eye, and a Thames River Cruise. The group will also take in a Premier League match, with stadium tours at both Chelsea and Liverpool’s Anfield, plus a visit to Richmond to see the famous Ted Lasso filming locations.
From there, the trip continues north to Chester, including training with Tranmere Rovers, matches against local opposition, and a chance to discover the historic cities and vibrant culture of the region. The journey combines soccer, sightseeing, and unforgettable cultural experiences—highlighted by two professional matches, three friendly games, and tours of some of England’s most famous stadiums.
