BUSC Coaches/Staff Predictions for USA-Australia match!

It’s time for the second game for the United States in the World Cup!

After an impressive 4-1 win over Paraguay to open the tournament, the United States team stands with a win on Friday, to lock up a spot in the Round of 32.

But, standing in their way is Australia, a team that can make the same claim. The Aussies opened in the tournament with a 2-0 win over Turkey.

The game is set for a 12 p.m. kickoff on Friday and as mentioned above, the winner will find themselves with a spot in the Round of 32.

Here are predictions from the Ballistic United coaches and staff:

Ken Villegas: 3-1 USA – parking the bus won’t help the Aussies.

Tewfik Boutaleb: The U.S., God willing, 2-0. We have a better team than Australia. We are going to press high, maintain ball possession, and we will prevent Australia from developing their game. I am certain Australia will play low block most of the game.

Daniel Mlontes: 2-0 – because USA!

Sean Lemoine: 2-1 USA, or 2-2! I don’t know much about them, but they did beat Turkey.

Tessie Wagner: 2-1 USA, although a bevy of goals could be possible.

Mike Nieto: USA 4-0 thrashing – why not!

Kevin Crow: 2-0 whipping of those funny accent English speakers!

Darry Watson: USA wins 2-1. Both teams enter the match with confidence after impressive performances, but the quality of US will ultimately prevail in a tight match.

Dennis Miller: USA by 2-0. Could be a tough one as Turkey looked strong and the Aussies shut them out. USA is going to have to watch the Australia counter-attacks.
