World Cup semifinal predictions from BUSC coaches/staff!

Today brings the first of the two World Cup semifinals as France meets Spain in a battle of two hotly contested rivals. Wednesday brings England against Argentina, the only non-European teams.

Following are the predictions from the BUSC coaches/staff.

Dennis Miller: France 3, Spain 1. I’m not a big fan of either team, but I respect both. In the end, France seems to have too much firepower and will get a late goal to pad the 2-1 lead. Argentina 3, England 2. I so want to pick England and will be rooting for them but it just seems destiny – and FIFA – are both with Argentina.

Luis Orellana: France wins 1-0; England wins 2-1.

Kevin Crow: I agree with Coach Luis, except I have England winning 2-1 in overtime.
Tessie Wagner-Pease: France 2-0, England 3-1.

Sean Lemoine: France 2-1 in overtime or penalty kicks – these are the two best teams. Argentina 2-1 in overtime or penalty kicks as well. They could both be great games!

Alfredo Zamora: France 2-1, England 1-0.

Tewfik Boutaleb: Spain 2, France 1; England 2, Argentina 1
