A convincing 6-0 win by the Ballistic United Under-14 team over the San Francisco Glens team highlighted the day of action for BUSC teams on Saturday, October 16.
Xavier Cisneros had the goals and an assist to lead the BUSC offensive assault. Nikolas Lorentsen scored twice with Matthew Ornelas adding the final goal.
Christopher Pratte, Drew Tinio, Eli Steams (2), and Jaxson Sellar all had at least one assist.
The Under-16 team battled to a 3-3 final with the Glens.
Colin Davis, Manuel Portillo, and Arteen Arianmanesh got the goals for Ballistic, with Zolly Corrigan, Kenji Begossi, and Davis each getting an assist.
The Under-19 Ballistic team got a goal from Ethan Kerrigan off an Andy Gill assist but fell 2-1 to the Glens.
In the Under-13 match, the Glens came away with the 8-0 win.
The U-13 and U-14 teams will be back in action Sunday against their counterparts from the California Odyssey Soccer Club of Fresno.
The U-13 game is at 9 a.m. and the U-14’s take to the field at 11 a.m. Both games are at the Val Vista soccer complex in Pleasanton.
