The Ballistic United MLS Next teams ventured down to Aptos on February 19 to take on the Breakers F.C. from the Santa Cruz area and came away with a 3-1 record.
The Under-19 group got a goal from Saul Tecle, then relied on a tough defense to come away with a 1-0 win. Jorge Villasenor went the distance in the goal for Ballistic.
In the U-17 game Ballistic pulled out the 1-0 win, with Josip Baktovic getting the goal off an assist from Sam Fomin.
The U-16 group pulled out a thrilling 4-3 win.
Kenji Begossi got the ball rolling on offense with the first goal, then picked up assists on the next two scores.
Arteen Arianmanesh and Colin Davis picked up the goals off assists from Begossi. Davis got the fourth goal on a penalty kick.
In the U-15 match, Miles Taylor got the goal for Ballistic, but the team fell 5-1.
