One day after dueling with the Seattle Sounders U-17 team to a draw, the Ballistic U-17 MLS Next team fought the Portland Timbers U-17 team to a 2-2 final.
The two road draws gave Ballistic a point in each game against two very solid Academy teams of MLS organizations.
Sunday against Portland Sam Fomin and Ali Elmasnouy got the two goals. Nico Gill had an assist on the Fomin goal.
The U-15 Ballistic team battled throughout but dropped a 3-2 final to Portland. Miles Taylor and Avi Vinod got the goals, with Xavi Cisneros and Jaxon Sellar each had an assist.
