It was tough sledding for the Ballistic MLS Next teams on October 30 on the road against Sac Republic, as Ballistic dropped all five games to the Sacramento teams that draw from a monstrous region.
The good news? The teams are right back at it this Saturday with six games in Pleasanton against the Breakers F.C. from Santa Cruz. All six games will be taking place on the two fields at Patelco Park.
The Under-13 and Under-15 games are set for 11 a.m., with the Under-14 and Under-16 games at 1 p.m. The day will end with the Under-17 and Under-19 games at 3 p.m.
It was the Under-17 and Under-19 which had the best efforts against Sac Republic last weekend. The Under-17 team fell 3-0 in a game that was much closer than the final score indicated. The Under-19 team was right in the thick of it until giving up some late goals and falling 4-2.
Saul Tecle scored both goals for Ballistic.
The Under-14 team got a goal from Xavier Cisneros, but dropped a 6-1 final.
