The lone BUSC team playing Sunday in the MLS NEXT Flex playoffs made sure the day was a good one as the U-17 teams pulled out a 3-2, penalty kick shootout win!
Ilya Alekseev and Ronald Teng got the goals in regulation, with Ali Elmansouny and Saylen Cardoni getting assists. The team took out the Revolution 3-2 in penalty kicks. Dane Baker, Elmasouny, and Sam Fomin converted their kicks, and when Akash Poola was able to make three saves, Ballistic had the win to bring their record to 1-1 in the tournament.
After a day off Monday, Ballistic will close out the tournament with a match Tuesday against FC Cincinatti at 1 p.m. EDT.
