The MLS season kicks off in about an hour for the San Jose Earthquakes as they travel to take on the Houston Dynamo in the season opener for both teams.
Game time is 5 p.m. The game will be shown via replay at 8 p.m. Friday on NBC Sports Bay Area (720). You can watch the game on ESPN-Plus at ESPN.com.
It is also a big night for our BUSC alumni as four former players do the rosters of both clubs.
Cade Cowell, Gilbert Fuentes, and Jacob Akanyirige have spots with the Earthquakes, with Nico Lemoine donning a Houston uniform.
